iDome’s 2-wire audio door phone has a simple and old-school design. But the system is an incredibly modern take over a traditional doorbell at your house.

The audio door phone is the companion piece of iDome’s Outdoor Unit F822207. The system works together to create an effective home security system. Now, you can easily communicate with a visitor at your doorstep without leaving your phone.

The outdoor unit has several features and functions that you can benefit from at a highly reasonable cost. Depending on the outdoor model you choose, it can support around four different apartments. The system is ideal for a small apartment complex or a house rental.

The Audio Door phone has an extremely high transmission frequency of 433MHZ. This frequency allows the audio door phone to connect a long-distance transmission with more than 200 meters.

The intercom mode allows you to avail of dual hands-free communication. You can have a maximum conversation of 120s at one go. The system requires 5 hours to fully charge and can stay on standby for 45 days continuously. Regarding the wireless intercom range, the door phone can operate for 1km in an open area.

iDome’s Audio Door Phone has everything you expect from a handheld phone. It has a powerful speaker and a hand-up button that is automatically pressed once you put the phone down. The handheld phone has an inbuilt microphone. You also get the additional option of a call transfer button which is helpful if you’ve been accidentally called by your neighbor’s visitor.

Two LED lights are integrated within the phone’s design, indicating when the power and intercom are operational. Best of all, the system has an unlock button. Once pressed, the unlock button is connected to the outdoor unit, opening your home’s lock.

If you’re concerned about power, the phone doesn’t use much. The maximum power consumption of iDome’s Audio phone is 100MA max. The system even works in severe temperature functions in the extreme hot and cold. The operational temperature of the device ranges from -10 degrees to +60 degrees. For your ease, the system comes with an installation surface mount.
