The iDome EP-F18 Fingerprint Access Control Machine is an automatic biometric device that can be installed around your property. Like any other fingerprint identification device, it receives data input and saves it.
It also comes with a number pad to enable a PIN system which allows you to manually access your property, and increases convenience.
Its ZK Optical Sensor is brilliant at recognizing and processing biometric information. You only need to press down on the sensor with the appropriate finger, and if you’re the host, you’ll be given access to your property instantaneously.
The device functions entirely wireless on WiFi, and supports TCP/IP network function. It has standard Wiegand Output and Input which allow for smooth functioning. The CPU in this one contains 128MB flash+32MB RAM, which meets the standard biometric data requirements. This means that it can store up to 3000 fingerprint templates, and 5000 card details.
An additional feature is the use of ID Cards with this fingerprint sensor. The device scans your card and provides access if it matches the stored data.
Another function of the EP-F18 Fingerprint Access Control Machine is an efficient attendance system. It can be installed in offices to mark employee attendance, as it can be connected to any standard computer.
Apart from the TCP/ICP features, the device uses RS232/485 and USB as its communication methods too.
